How to Set-up Registration for Courses

Registration setup Check list:

1) Add the Registration types  - Optional (Required if you have different registration products for each type and you want people to identify their type, which allows them to see the applicable products only)
2) Add the Registration Products  - Required
3) Flag Registration= On the Activity Info page - Required
4) Add the Registration Meeting times/Deadlines - Required

1) From the Activity, click on ‘Manage Registration Types’

Click on the ‘Add New Registration Type’ button

Select the Registration Type from the drop-down and save your changes

2) From the Activity, click on ‘Manage Activity Products’

Click on the ‘Add Product’ button

For Registration Fees, enter the required fields and:
    • Flag Product Type = Attendee Registration Purchase
    • Claim Credit = Yes (if registrants should be able to receive credit)
    • Select the appropriate Registration Type(s). Registration types show up on this page only when they are added under "Manage Registration Types"
Note: When the Registration types are involved, selecting them is required for the products to be available. Either select the one(s) to which the product is applicable to or select all if it needs to be available to everyone. Not selecting any of the reg types, makes the product invisible to all.

For Additional Purchase Options, enter the required fields and:
    • Flag Product Type = Additional Options
    • Claim Credit = Yes (if registrants should be able to receive credit)
    • Select the appropriate Registration Type(s) (only if you are restricting the products to certain Registration Types)

This form should have already been created under "Attendee Registration Demographic" form type under Settings > Forms.

Note: DO NOT change the setup on this page even after your registration is closed. Do not flag the Registration On to 'No' after the Registration is closed.

4) From the Activity, click on ‘Meeting Times

Click the checkbox next to the "Registration Deadline" to open the deadline, set the start and end dates, then save the deadlines by clicking "Save" at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: the ‘Starts On’ date should be the actual date you want registration live on the website (you will be able to test registration from the Admin without making registration live). The 'Ends On' date controls when the Registration should become unavailable to the front end user. Only edit these dates to control the registration availability. Do not change the set up on the Activity Info page .
