How to set up a Private Registration

When you have Activities that are private and you want a target audience to register for them, follow the  steps below:
 
1) Add the Registration Products.
2) Add the Registration Deadline/Meeting time 
3) On the Activity Info screen, flag the Activity as 'Private'



4) Click on the Activity Preview link


 
5) Copy the URL and email this to the target audience.
 


6) The recipient of the email should be able to click on the link on the email to access the Registration page


 
7) The user is redirected to the CME site's  log in page. An existing user uses the log in credentials; and a new user will be able to create an account before registering for the event.
 
 
Note: An email will be sent to the new user and they will have to validate their email address and update their profile before they are allowed to register.
